Happy birthday to my 1st Lady (1)!

I tease her by her several Hausa traditional local nicknames: she's Asibi, because she was born on a Saturday; she's also Azumi, because she was born on the 23rd of Ramadan/Watan-Azumi (month of fasting); she is Shatu, which is the short form of A'ishatu, and, of course, Indo, which is the Hausa variation of A'isha. But the one she loves most is the nickname the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) calls his favorite wife with: "Ya A'ish"...

Incidentally, it's the last name that has dominated all the others, including the real name, A'isha. Indo is the name that everyone knows her as, for it's become her official name at school and workplace...

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The most complete of the believers in faith are those with the best character, and the best of you are the best in behavior to their women.”
