INEC ta ɗage zaɓen gwamnoni da ƴan majalisun jihohi da mako ɗaya

Hukumar Zaɓe ta Najeriya INEC ta ɗage zaɓen gwamnoni da na 'yan majalisar dokokin jihohi da mako guda, wato zuwa 18 ga watan Maris

INEC ta tabbatar wa da BBC ɗage zaɓen, bayan wani taron gaggawa da manyan jami'an hukumar suka yi a Abuja.

Kafofin yaɗa labarai na Najeriya sun ambato cewa INEC ba ta kammala saita 'tantance masu zaɓe ba ta BVAS wadda aka yi amfani da ita a zaɓen shugaban ƙasa a ranar 25 ga watan Fabirairu.

Sun ƙara da cewa hukumar ta ce sai ta samu damar kwashe bayananta da ta tattara na a yayin zaɓen shugaban ƙasar zuwa wani rumbunta na daban kafin ta sake saita na’urar ta yadda za a yi zaɓen gwamnoni da na ‘yan majalisar jihohi ba tare da wata damuwa ba.

Tun da farko, an tsara gudanar da zaɓen ne a ranar asabar 11 ga watan Maris.

Wannan na zuwa ne sa'o'i kaɗan bayan wata kotun ɗaukaka ƙara a Najeriya ta amince da buƙatar hukumar zaɓe ta ƙasar ta sake saita na’urar tantance masu zaɓe ta BVAS wadda aka yi amfani da ita a zaɓen shugaban ƙasar.

Tawagar alƙalan kotun mai mutum uku ƙarƙashin jagorancin Joseph Ikyegh ta yanke hukuncin cewa an bai wa INEC damar ne domin gudanar da zaɓen gwamnoni wanda aka tsara gudanarwa a ranar Asabar 11 ga watan Maris tun da fari.

Hukuncin na nufin kotun ta ƙi amincewa da buƙatar da ɗan takarar shugaban ƙasa a jam’iyyar LP Peter Obi ya shigar ta neman hana INEC goge bayanan masu zaɓen da aka naɗa a zaɓen shugaban ƙasar.

Tawagar alƙalan ta ce INEC ta bayyana cewa tana da shirin kwashe bayannan da ke cikin na'urar 176,000 da aka yi amfani da su a zaɓen ta wallafa su a wani rumbun bayananta na daban, ko da yake Obi da LP ba su nuna ƙin amincewa da wannan shiri ba.
