Katsina State Governor Makes First Appointments

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has appointed Architect Ahmed Musa Ɗangiwa as the Secretary to the Government of Katsina State, SGS, barely a few hours after  his inauguration  as the fifth democratically elected Governor of Katsina State.

This is contained in a statement the governor personally signed. 

Ahmed Musa Ɗangiwa was the Director-General, Katsina State APC Campaign Council.

According to the statement, Alhaji  Jabiru Salisu Tsauri has, also, been appointed as the Chief of Staff, Barrister Muhtar Aliyu Saulawa is the Deputy Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji was, similarly, appointed as the Principal Private Secretary, PPS, to the Governor. 

Other appointments approved by Governor Radda are: Mallam  Maiwada Dammallam, Director-General, Media; Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary; Malam Miqdad Isah as Senior Special Assistant (Digital Media); and Abubakar Badaru Jikamshi becomes the Senior Special Assistant (Print and Electronic Media).

Alhaji Bishir Maikano is the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, (Protocol), Deputy Governor's Office. Other appointments are Alhaji Hassan Ibrahim Danhaire, as Senior Special Assistant, SSA, (Special Duties), Deputy Governor's Office and Ahmed Rabiu as Official Photographer to the Governor.

The Governor congratulated the new appointees and urged them to join hands with him in turning around the fortunes of the State.
