Empowering Youth: Over 100 Participants Undergo SME Training and Startup Grant Program in Katsina State

Honorable Abdullahi Balarabe Dabai and I

Over one hundred young individuals are undergoing training and will receive startup grants for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bakori and ÆŠanja Local Government Areas of Katsina State.

I had the honor of serving as a resource person for the Sensitization Programme aimed at equipping youth with Digital Transformation Skills and providing startup grants for SMEs within Bakori/ÆŠanja Federal Constituency of Katsina State.

This initiative was organized by the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) in partnership with BNP Resources Limited. It was sponsored by Honorable Abdullahi Dabai, the House of Representatives member for Bakori/ÆŠanja Federal Constituency, as part of his constituency projects.

Honorable Abdullahi Balarabe Dabai, who has been both a classmate and a long-time friend, invited me to instruct social media users on Online Journalism Skills. The programme is taking place at the premises of the Business Apprenticeship Training Center, ÆŠanja.

Participants from Bakori and ÆŠanja Local Government Areas of Katsina State are set to receive startup grants following the completion of their training. Honorable Abdullahi Dabai was present today to observe the ongoing training session.
