In a significant step towards enhancing the impact of the book "Service to Humanity," the committee established to review the text has officially submitted its report to the Secretary to the Government of Katsina State (SGS), Barrister Abdullahi Garba Faskari.
The submission took place today and was led by the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Bala Salisu Zango, who also serves as the Commissioner of Information. Other notable committee members included Malam Ahmed Abdulkadir, Board Chairman, Katsina State Radio and Television Service Board; Dr. Sama'ila Balarabe of Mass Communications Department, Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic; Dr. Shamsu Bello of the English and French Department, Umaru Musa Yar'adua University, Katsina; and Malam Abdullahi Aliyu Yar'Adua, Director Press to the SGS, who served as the Secretary to the committee.
During the submission ceremony, SGS Barrister Faskari expressed his gratitude to the committee members for their diligent work and commitment to the project. He acknowledged the importance of the report in improving the book, which aims to showcase the achievements and initiatives of the Katsina State Governor in serving his citizens.
"The insights provided by the committee will be invaluable as we move forward," said Faskari. He assured the committee that the report would be forwarded to the state governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, for further consideration and action.
Commissioner Dr. Bala Salisu Zango reflected on the opportunity given to the committee to serve the state government, stating, "We appreciate the trust and confidence placed in us to undertake this important task. It is our hope that the recommendations will help in presenting a more impactful narrative of our commitment to serving humanity."
The committee's report highlights key areas for improvement in the book, including the addition of visual elements and restructuring of content to enhance reader engagement. Such recommendations aim to foster a deeper understanding of the government's initiatives and their positive effects on the community.
As the state government reviews the report, stakeholders and citizens alike await the implementation of the proposed changes, which promise to elevate the book's message and further inspire collective efforts toward service and development in Katsina State.
