Late Rtd. Major Bashir Ahmad Ɗanfuloti Innalillahi wa inna ilaihir rajiun. I mourn the loss of my beloved husband, Bashir, who passed away on April 27, 2024, corresponding to the 18th of Shawwal 1445 AH. It has been 40 days since he left, and the void he created in my life feels insurmountable. Each morning, waking up without him, without the sound of his voice, shatters my heart further. A part of me has vanished. The anguish I feel is indescribable; I am engulfed in emptiness and solitude. It all seems surreal, as if I am trapped in a dream. My life transformed in an instant. Oh Allah, grant me strength during this challenging time. Please forgive his shortcomings and welcome him into Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen 🤲🏼
Bashir brought immense joy to my life; knowing his love was a blessing. He embodied patience, tenderness, love, kindness, care, and forgiveness—never holding onto grudges. His presence illuminated my life, proving time and again that good men truly exist. He was my safe haven, my confidant, the source of my laughter and happiness. He was the finest husband, my best friend, and I would choose him repeatedly if given the chance.
He was a beacon of kindness to his family, my family, and anyone he encountered. His gentle spirit was evident in his interactions with friends and strangers alike. Always willing to help, he remained soft-hearted, even in his role as a military officer—a true gentleman and a man of peace.
My beloved Alhajin Allah, as I affectionately called him, always reassured me with the words, “kinsan Allah yana sona.” He faced his challenges with grace and bestowed upon me the strength I needed to support him through difficult times. Oh Allah, have mercy on this extraordinary soul, a man of integrity who ensured I wanted for nothing. He was my support system, providing me with peace and comfort, and caring for me in every way. Alhamdulillah for the gift of Bashir in my life. Yaa Allah, reward him as he rewarded me, and grant him the joy he brought me. Yaa Allah, witness all the goodness he brought into my life, and place him among the inhabitants of Jannatul Firdaus. 🤲🏼
Bashir will remain unforgettable, In shaa Allah. He will continually be in my prayers for the rest of my days. The pain of missing him is my greatest struggle. My love for him was profound, yet Allah’s love surpasses all, and I believe he is in the best of care, In shaa Allah. May Allah, in His Infinite Mercy, forgive him and all who have departed from us. May Allah reunite us in Jannatul Firdaus, where grief will cease, and we shall enjoy eternal peace. Ameen 🙏🏼
Oh Allah, Bashir is in Your embrace. There is no comfort greater than Yours. Please grant him ease in his grave; expand it for him. Illuminate his resting place, shower him with blessings and mercy, and protect him from the trials of the grave. Allah, may his death be a resting place for him, and may his suffering serve as atonement. Allah, unite us in Jannatul Firdaus, where we will experience the greatest comfort. 🤲🏼
Oh Allah, you have taken him from me; after all, You granted him to me. I have faith that You do not neglect, Oh Allah, You know the pain in my heart. I trust in You, the ultimate source of solace, for no comfort surpasses Yours. Look upon me with mercy and attend to my needs. Oh Allah, grant me patience, resilience, and understanding. Oh Allah, I solely worship You and seek Your assistance. 🤲🏼 [O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining, by Your Mercy I Seek Help; Rectify All My Affairs and Do Not Leave Me in Charge of My Affairs Even for the Blink of an Eye.] Ameen, my Lord. 🤲🏼
